  First time there, great experience! Been driving past The Assembly forever, lived in the area for about two and a half years with my roommate. We finally decided to come in and sit down on a Sunday afternoon. Excellent service, very homey yet refined interior. I got the Mac & Cheese burger, little skimpy on the mac & cheese, was hoping for it to be homemade but it wasn't, however that did not deduct from the excellent burger and wonderful tater tots. Will definitely be stopping in more often, already planning on catching a Bears game here when the season comes around!

  Though the exterior is a bit dated and has been described as that befitting a dive bar, you MUST drop in for the great food, friendly staff and casual atmosphere if you haven't already. Plenty of locals frequent the joint for good reason. Burgers are king here, but don't hesitate to explore other menu choices. Good grub at a good value. 'Nuff said.

  Tonight they FINALLY added specials again.( I wish I could have had them both) To my shock I was finally able to get the walleye that initially brought me into their establishment. What a treat! My wife and I are regulars and on a first name basis with all staff. Please keep the specials coming! For any newcomers the food, staff, and ambiance is awesome. You just can't find places like this anymore.
